I love my dog Rusty as much as anyone could love a pet. He is a Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever mix.
He is about 10 1/2 years old but he is still very active. He insists on two or three walks a day and he loves to wrestle with our other dog Bob.
But Rusty is slowing down as far as how fast he can walk. His hip is bothering him a little. This is usually not a problem, until yesterday.
We were walking and out of nowhere, a huge thunderstorm rolls in. I tried to rush Rusty along but it was no use. The rain came down in buckets. Fortunately, we dodged the lightning.
We all got soaked, but I still love my Rusty.
