Deep Dish Day

This past Wednesday, the boys went out to eat Chicago-style. Dennis had just returned from a conference in Chicago last week where he dined at Giordano's. They are famous for their deep-dish pizza.

Based on his experience, we decided to try the local franchise located on Dale Mabry highway.

So Dennis, Mark, Rick, and myself made the drive from our office to the restaurant. Once we arrived, we placed our order and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. It turns out, the deep dish pizza takes at least 30 minutes to bake. It felt like we waited almost 40 minutes.

This made Rick a little nervous because he had a meeting to get back to.

Just as we were making plans to have to get our food as a takeout, the pizza arrived. It was worth the wait. But next time, we will call in our order.

We arrived back at the office just in time for Rick to make his meeting.
